History

Tekke of Mullah Bani is located at a place called “Qyli neighbourhood” near the river Krena. The premse was built in XIX century. The primary function of Tekke has been religious, but many educational activities were carried out within these premises. Tekke of Mullah Bani belongs to SADI Order. Founder of Tekke was Baba Sadik and Baba Ahmet, kuburies (graves) of which are within the tekke. The tekke got the name from Mullah Baba Bani or Mullah Shabani II who was a Mullah since 1911-1942. The first graves (kuburies) of the tekke belong to three daughters fallen a martyr at the time of the Austro-Turkish war (1683-1699). Tekke of Mullah Bani consists of Tekke premise, which has two floors and the tomb comprising a complex. Tekke has a samahane where religious rites were performed, two guest rooms and tomb as a separate space. Samahane is covered with a magnificent dome with sufficient decorations, frescoes, photos and equipment to perform the rite of Zikri. Guest rooms are also made of wood material. From the outside, the premise a magnificent view with a porch dominating with windows harmoniously ordered each of which has decorative frames around. The material used in construction of the premise is stone - foundations, walls of baked bricks, construction of interstitial place is of oak and floor from wood planks. The roof is steep, with wood and covered with flat roof tiles. The premise of the tomb is a medium-sized premise next to tekke. Tomb continuously follows Tekke architecture from the outside, while inside there is a single space covered by a roof supported under octagon basis .the attic is coated with planks and smaller planks.
