History

In the city of Gjilan, opposite to the bus station, a former Turkish military depot is located, later hospital and for several years court for minor offenses, and now is being used by political parties in Gjilan, as their headquarters. This construction was carried out in 18th century. According to the designation, this object has had the Turkish military depot function, and later changed the dedication and in most cases is constantly used for power office. The building has two floors, where each environment has had the certain role. At the time of the former Yugoslavia it has been Offence Court. Mainly, the object retains the original situation, except facade renovations they have constantly done and roof restoration. Building belongs to home type and has neoclassical style elements. The object is carried out by stones, bricks, woods and tile roof. It belongs to citizen technique and has a unique architecture. Windows have rectangle shape. Even though they are replaced with new ones, they have maintained the form that had. The upper part of the entrance door has a semi arch shape.
