History

Village Zaskok is located 3km southwest of Ferizaj town. The archeological site identified as 'Stone-Tomb' is located in the vicinity of the old school and close to the local community office in Zaskok. In 1981, by the Kosovo Museum here were performed scanning excavations. These works revealed a necropolis from the Roman era, respectively 4 graves with incinerations and various grave constructions. Other findings include: a number of glass pots, 3 ceramic amphorae and a silver fibula. Such findings are typical for the period between end of 3rd and beginning of 4th century A.D.
