History

The Tahir Lush Bërdynaj Mill was build in the 19th century. It is a Mill with two storeys. The Mill is public and was build mainly in stone. Milling worked by the power of the water flow. The construction is popular construction of the local masters. The structure reminds of the typical technique in building fortified houses, respectively the Dukagjini kulla. The mill was used for milling wheat, but it also hosted migrants from Albania, and rendered many services for the population of the area. The Tower/Mill is thought to be amongst the first built in the area. It was built in the cadastral zone no. 71611064, parcel no. 250, map no. 15.
