According to old Scripts, a Masjid was built in this location by Haji Mustafa during XVI century. And later on, it is renovated by Ahmed Bey and the minaret was built. The period of renovation and construction of the minaret is supposed to be around the beginning of the XIX century. The mosque is also known as Ahmed Bey Mosque or Tabakhana Mosque. From the time it was built until now, it performed a religious function as a mosque in the neighbourhood. The complex consists of the mosque backyard surrounded by perimeter wall that borders the complex by the street toward the north; the building of the mosque; springs open for ablution and sanitation; the old stones and gravestones in the yard. The building of the mosque has modest dimensions and belongs common type of neighbourhood mosques. In the north-west lies the porch with rectangular layout. Porch initially was half-open and built on high ground, but in recent years of the twentieth century, it has been closed and floor is built, with external staircase. North-east and south-east Wall have two pairs of windows, where lower windows have rectangular shape and upper ones end with semi-circular top. In the interior of the prayer hall, original elements have been preserved, except attic which is made of wooden decks. In the prayer hall, there are traditional elements of the interior of the mosque, the mihrab, minbar and mahvili-gallery. Access to the gallery is through external stairs built before the porch. The minaret is located on the western wall of the mosque, is circular floor layout, built by sponge stones. It has an average height, covered with cone-shaped peak of metal sheet, characterised by sherefe - circular balcony and simple geometric decorations.
